Denise is unique in the art world as she is able to partner with her husband, Brian - a lapidary hobbyist - to create stunning jewelry designs.
Denise explains her art process: "Once the rocks are found and dug, they are shipped to our home in Maryland. These, along with other choice rough rock from fellow lapidaries are identified, sawn, formed and polished into cabochons (a shaped, polished gemstone) by Brian. Once completed, I study them for a while, decide on an appropriate design, and fashion a sterling silver wire wrap that conveys the natural interest of each stone."
