Working in a variety of areas allows her to keep her interests broad and her work fresh. Ellen has been awarded more than a few Best in Show awards and is quickly becoming nationally recognized as an equestrian painter. Her work is able to capture the power and grace of the horse in a variety of ways.
Her passion is showcased in her "Plein Air" landscapes and cityscapes, which she paints on location whenever possible. Her paintings incorporate both the large and small, which embraces the overall scope and yet focuses on the details as well.
While Ellen has set up her own website, not every piece she has created ends up on the web.
