Vincent von Frese is a career artist known for his zoological illustrations and sculptures. Educated through art instruction schooling and in-studio apprenticeships with master artists as well as colleges and universities, Vincent's focus on painting and sculpture began while being involved in a life-long avocation working among wildlife as a naturalist and zookeeper. He is praised by The New Yorker Magazine and says, "By studying the life histories and habits of various species of animals, I have found expression in the fine art painting, drawing and sculpture as a way of sharing my experience poetically with people about animal life."
